It started out with two total strangers. Two ladies agree to make a difference for the less fortunate at Christmas. While scrambling around the month of December 2013, we helped many families with Christmas and their holiday meal, not giving our own families 100% during this time.
We wanted to make sure these families would have what they needed. Since December 2013 Holiday Season we have been helping families in need with gently used and occasional new items consisting of: household items, clothes, toys.
When a family comes to us and they need food we ask our family and friends to pull together by cleaning out their pantries and freezers. Occasionally we get fresh vegetables from friends whose gardens are plentiful.
We also help not just families with human children but children with fur, cats and dogs too. If you need food or supplies for them let us know.
My goal is for my business to promote awareness letting people know help is available through many resources. I want people to come to me and not be ashamed of their needs. I personally have been in the position of having nothing, not knowing where or how bills would be paid. It is the worse feeling in the world. I want families to know help is available and they're not alone. There are resources out there. We will do our best to help you find them.
We have knowledgeable resources, our goal is to help where we can. We have no funding for housing, fuel, etc. We work only with clothing, household, toys, gift card donations and food donations.
*I rely solely on Donations of family, friends and some businesses who believe in this cause. They are amazing for their time and effort. With the kindness of friends near and far this has been made completely possible. My volunteers are truly amazing
Just helping one another in their time of need is truly the greatest gift.
